The Laramie Project - July 24
Littlewoodsmith presents
The Laramie Project Friday July 24th 7:00PM In October 1998, a twenty-one-year-old student at the University of Wyoming was kidnapped, severely beaten and left tied to a fence in the middle of the prairie in Laramie, Wyoming. His name was Matthew Shepard – a young gay man that was the victim of a hate crime. Moises Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theatre Project journeyed to Laramie, Wyoming to interview the community that was engulfed by this horrific act of violence. The result – The Laramie Project – a breathtaking collage that explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable. Join Littlewoodsmith for a special one-night-only performance of The Laramie Project, featuring a cast of 15 amazingly talented actors as they bring to life the experiences of the community of Laramie.
