It was a great evening of socializing, food, and a campfire.

Congratulations to the Boy Scouts of America, which voted today to allow openly gay youth members.  61% of the delegates at the BSA's annual meeting voted for the new poliThis is only a first step, because openly gay leaders (and boys 18 and over) are still not allowed to be members.

This is a step on the way to full inclusivity, like Scouts Canada which has a long-standing policy of non-discrimination.

Our usual fun and festivities for this camping weekend...Only $20 pp to camp all weekend (18 and under are free) If camping is not you thing then come to The Sat Social, which is free to attend, begins with a pot luck BBQ (burgers provided) from 6pm, huge bonfire, show and nice Fireworks display at dusk (donations towards this appreciated)... just bring something small to share for dinner, a lawn chair and beverage of your choice... if you are drinking be sure to either have DD or a tent or trailer to stay :D

just take the hwy 400 to exit 182 (Irouquois Cranberry Growers Drive), then go north on the north east service road(A:IO Ohaha), and take the only driveway off that....Look for the Pride Flag at driveway entrance... follow road in under hydro lines to the main building
