Gravenhurst Scout Hall (425 John St. S, Gravenhurst) 7:00PM The Muskoka Pride Committee, in partnership with Rainbow Health Ontario, invite you to join us for a FREE screening of the Academy Award-nominated film "MILK". Starring Sean Penn in the title role, "MILK" is a biographical film based on the life of gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk, who was the first openly gay person to be elected to public office in California. The film will be shown at the Gravenhurst Scout Hall. Admission is free, however a donation bucket will be available to help support Muskoka Pride Week events. Before MILK, we are screening the short film "Meeting Mora" by Mckenzie Ring, which was shown last year by the Gravenhurst Fine Films. A modern-day Guess Who's Coming to Dinner with a twist. Mora's organized, upper-middle class life is thrown into turmoil when she finds out her daughter is gay and is bringing home her girlfriend for Thanksgiving dinner.
