Muskoka Pride Receives Pay It Forward Grant!

Muskoka Pride is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a 2013 Pay It Forward Muskoka grant.

In the coming months, we will be launching a community outreach service to  the LGBT community in the District of Muskoka.  This service will include an information and referral telephone line to provide support to LGBT community members.  The telephone service will be provided by community volunteers that are trained, supervised, and supported by the Board of Directors of Muskoka Pride.

Additionally, Muskoka Pride will be organizing, hosting, and supporting ongoing community outreach forums/meetings in each community in Muskoka. The community outreach service will target to specific groups within the LGBT community, that have been identified through survey data collected by Muskoka Pride.
